In Uttarakhand, 35 days after devastating rains and the Dharali disaster hit Uttarkashi, the pilgrimage to Gangotri Dham has resumed.
The administration and Border Roads Organisation repaired damaged stretches of the Gangotri National Highway, enabling its reopening.
The yatra is being conducted through a special shuttle service to ensure safety and smooth movement. Over 100 devotees offered prayers and had darshan of Maa Ganga at the shrine last evening
