Students Conference in Mathematics’ on the eve of National Mathematics
Day on 22/12/25.
Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu was the Chief Guest and Prof. (Dr.)
Manish Sharma, HOD Statistics Division, SKUAST, Jammu acted as a Resource
person, during the conference.Prof.(Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, GGM
Science College, Jammu enlightened the students of their moral duties towards
the society and blessed the students for their success in every sphere of life.
Resource person of the event Prof. (Dr.) Manish Sharma gave a detailed note on
relation between Mathematics and Statistics, he informed the gathering about the
importance and uses of Mathematics and statistics in daily life as well as in
different areas of other Sciences. The formal welcome address to the august
gathering was given by Dr.Pawan Kumar Sharma,Organizing Secretary of the
conference, who also enlightened the students with his views on the importance
