Jammu 22 Dec 2025 – The Gau Gopal Mahayagna in Sohanjana has become a wonderful confluence of religious, cultural, and social harmony and national love, with a flood of millions of devotees pouring in today, Monday, the fifth day, just like yesterday.
Meanwhile, approximately five hundred participants, under the guidance of Vedic scholars and with the chanting of mantras, offered thousands of oblations into one hundred and eight sacrificial pits. On the other hand, millions of devotees circumambulated the sacrificial area.
This amazing confluence and combination of divine fire rituals, knowledge rituals, food offerings, devotional singing, patriotic fervor, and a cultural fair has transformed into a mini-Kumbh Mela of the Sanatan tradition. Here, millions of devotees are enjoying the bliss of knowledge and devotion, purchasing their favorite items from the various stalls, and partaking in the blessed food offerings.
Everyone here seems happy and full of joy. Such moments of pure bliss in life are rare. Some are immersed in devotional singing, some are benefiting from circumambulating the sacrificial area, some are busy with the rituals, some are enjoying the swings, and others are savoring the blessed food offerings and the delicacies from the stalls.
Today, from the Vyas platform of the knowledge ritual, those who imparted pure knowledge of God and spirituality included the son of the Yagna’s organizer, Shastri Maharaj Ji, the revered Gangadhar Ji, Professor Murli Manohar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit University, New Delhi, Professor Om Nath Vimal Ji, Director of Hindu Studies Center, Delhi, Professor Vijay Shankar Dwivedi, Head of the Department of Vedas, Delhi University, New Delhi, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Upadhyay, Chief Trustee of Gurukul Seva Yojana, Jammu and Kashmir, Mahatma Jashveer Singh of the Udaseen sect, the revered Tyagi Mahatma Shri Kalyandas Ji, Shri Mahesh Das Ji, the chief priest of Shri Sukrala Mata, Mahant Nandkishore Ji, Bhai Daljit Singh from the Sikh Gurdwara, Shri Mridul Shastri Ji, and Shri Suresh Shastri Ji from Palli village, who delivered their insightful and life-enriching discourses.
Devotional singers Swami Bua Ditta, the popular singer from Jammu, Ms. Parul Kashyap, folk singer Randeep Singh Bhau, and others compelled thousands of listeners to sway to the rhythm of their devotional music. Rajat Sharma, a singer from the Radha Raman Sankirtan Mandali, also captivated the audience with his devotional music, making them sway to the rhythm.
On the same grand stage, students from Ganiksha Tuition Center, Majhua, presented a performance on “Operation Sindoor,” a patriotic theme.
