New Delhi: Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw briefs the media after releasing notifications for all six pillars of the Semicon India Programme 2.0.
Mr Vaishnaw says India could account for nearly 10% of the global semiconductor market in the coming years and is expected to play a much bigger role in the global semiconductor value chain.
He adds that the government is focused on firmly embedding India in the global semiconductor value chain, from wafer fabrication to chip production
