#UttarPradesh: Heavy rainfall over the past few days, along with the release of water from barrages, has resulted in flood-like conditions in several districts.
Ramganga River in Shahjahanpur and Ghaghra River in Barabanki, Ayodhya and Turtipar in Ballia are flowing above danger mark.Kuwano River in Gonda and Gandak River in Kushinagar are also flowing above danger level.In Kushinagar district, an embankment along the Narayani River, passing through Tamkuhi Raj tehsil area, breached late last night due to heavy water pressure. Following the breach, nearly two dozen villages in the district are facing threat of flooding.NDRF and SDRF teams have been directed to carry out extensive rescue operations in the affected areas.
