Poonch : 09 Jan 2025: Keeping in view the Indian Army’s core objective of maintaining cordial relations with local citizens, the Indian Army is conducting “Recruitment Training for Youth” at Village Pir Topa, from 08 January 2025. It is essential to equip youth with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude to excel in their future careers and make informed decisions about their professional paths. Recruitment training refers to the process of educating and developing the skills of recruitment professionals and providing experience for candidates.

The aim of the training is to provide guidance to unemployed youth in Village Pir Topa and nearby areas. A total of 08 youth are attending the Recruitment Training. By participating in recruitment training programs, youth can gain a competitive edge, increase their confidence, and develop a stronger sense of purpose and direction. It provides a Launchpad for unemployed youth and young individuals to join the defence forces, offering them an opportunity to serve the nation. Participants are trained under the supervision of a well-qualified training team, along with a civil instructor. Preparation for the physical fitness test, medical test, and written test will be carried out through a well-structured training program, which helps the younger generation to perform well during various aspects of the tests in recruitment rallies. Activities like these undertaken by the Army will go a long way in establishing peace, providing career options to youth, and contributing to the overall development of the backward rural area, helping them join the mainstream. This gesture and effort by the Army haa been highly appreciated by the local population.

This initiative by the Army to reach out to populations residing in remote areas, where civil administration has limited accessibility, will go a long way in developing and strengthening trust between the JAWAN and AWAM. The event also served as a platform to strengthen the bond between the Army and the people of this region. It showcased the Army’s commitment to serving the nation.
