Srinagar, March 1: Senior leaders of the Apni Party visited Westend Colony near Tengpora to offer their condolences to the family of Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, who passed away on Wednesday night.
He was the father-in-law of Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq and the brother of MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd.) Hasnain Masoodi.
According to a press release issued here, “Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir led a delegation of prominent party leaders to visit the Masoodi family and extend their condolences on the demise of Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi. The leaders met Mirwaiz Sahib and Hasnain Masoodi Sahib and expressed their sympathy over their profound loss.”
“While meeting to the bereaved family members, they said that the Apni Party stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this time of grief. On this occasion, Apni Party leaders prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for patience and strength for the bereaved family to bear this immense loss,” the press note adds.
The prominent leaders who were part of this delegation included the party’s Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohiuddin, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Spokesperson and former MLA Yawar Dilawar Mir, Constituency Incharge Pampore Mohammad Altaf Mir, Mohammad Athar, and others.
