Indian Army is regularly undertaking a variety of projects for the welfare of Gujjar and Bakarwal population. Indian Army conducted a medical equipment distribution to Gujjar and Bakarwals in Thanala, Jai Ghati and Marmat. The event was inaugurated in presence of heads of Gujjar and Bakarwal community staying in these remote regions. The Gujjar and Bakarwals thanked the Indian Army for this initiative in wake of Covid-19 pandemic and stated that such people friendly efforts by the Indian Army will have long lasting impact on the populace.
