With readiness to inculcate the spirit of staying healthy, Indian Army organised interaction session with youth of Lam on merits of Physical Fitness. Health is Wealth. Physical fitness is the condition of body that gives buoyancy to living. The objective of the event was to make youth aware of the excellence of being physically fit, maintain personal hygiene and thereby improving the overall quality of life. The attendees were educated on the benefits of regular exercise and physical activity. Primary components of fitness are cardio respiratory, muscular capacity and body composition. Regular exercising develop flexibility, stability, reduces the risk of injuries and illness. The enthusiasm displayed by the participants indicated that the awareness lecture has a long lasting impact on youth towards physical fitness. With dedicated habits they will channelise their energy towards spreading positively in society. A large number of youth attended the event.
