On the occasion of “Indian Army day”, Indian Army conducted a virtual lecture on “How to Join Indian Army” at Kinibitti in District Ramban. The aim of this lecture was to spread awareness amongst the youth regarding employment opportunity in the Indian Army. During the lecture various entry schemes for enrolment in Indian Army were explained to the aspirants, including the qualification, written examination, interview and payment. A total of 30 students connected to the online portal to participate in the lecture. The lecture was organised after popular demand from the students of local schools. The unit is planning to organise more of similar educational lectures to make youth of the areas aware about the various openings available in governmental and non-governmental organisations. The initiative was widely appreciated by local populace, especially the youth for conducting such an informative event.
