In support of the national effort to fight off COVID-19, Indian Army has been contributing in all possible ways, which include distribution of medical kits, awareness lectures in far-flung areas and operating mobile medical aid patrols to difficult & isolated areas. These patrols have proved to be very effective in identifying COVID positive (symptomatic) patients & in registering locals on COWIN app, besides assisting locals in acquiring medical aid. Indian Army sent its medical patrol to Paddah in district Rajouri (J&K). The patrol interacted with the villagers including Sarpanches and Panches. Villagers were informed about symptoms observed in 2nd strain of COVID-19 and on the importance of practicing preventive measure. The event included door to door information dissemination campaign followed by distribution of COVID preventive kits. The efforts of medical patrol has been appreciated by the villagers .
