Bhim meets Ramdas Athawale, discuss SPOs, Asha workers & poor widows

A senior level delegation of J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) led by its President Prof. Bhim Singh accompanied among others by  Mr.P.K Ganju, Sr. Vice President, Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary called on the Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment and Founder Republican Party of India, Mr. Ramdas Athawale and brought to his notice burning issues confronting the neglected sections of the society in J&K and Ladakh.
Prof. Bhim Singh urged upon his old friend and political associate Mr. Athawale to get temporary services of Asha workers, SPOs and Safai Karamcharis regularised as permanent government employees.
The Panthers Party said that the SPOs are rendering regular services to the Police Department like the trained Police Contables, these poorly paid sepoys while protecting VVIPs, bureaucrats and politicians at times get martyred, but their bereaved families are not paid the due compensation as is paid to police martyred kins.
Prof. Bhim Singh made an appeal to the Govt. of India to uplift the poor widowed women by granting them regular financial assistance.
