Jammu, 23 April 2025: The Central University of Jammu (CUJ), led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, vehemently condemns the cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam that targeted innocent lives. The university community expresses profound grief and stands in unwavering solidarity with the families of the victims and expressed deep anguish of the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Anantnag, which claimed the lives of innocent civilians.
In a solemn tribute to the martyrs, the university observed two minutes of silence today, honoring their sacrifice. Subsequently, students, faculty, and staff joined a peaceful protest rally, marching from the campus to the university gate, chanting slogans against terrorism and affirming their support for national unity and security.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain used strong words to condemn the attack at Pahalgam and stand in unwavering solidarity with the bereaved families. Prof. Jain said such acts of terror will never weaken our resolve. He said we stand united with our nation. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to peace, harmony, and zero tolerance towards violence.
