2 J&K Girls Bn NCC commenced its second Annual Training Camp (ATC) at NCC Camping ground Nagrota on 14 Sep 2021 after successful completion of ATC J1 from 07 Sep to 13 Sep 2021. Approx 250 Senior Wing cadets apart from ANOs & PI Staff reported for this camp also.
COVID-19 test of all cadets & staff team was carried out by representative of PHC Dhansal. Cadets and staff declared COVID-19 negative were only permitted to attend the camp. All the cadets were briefed to follow Covid-19 related protocols. Administrative staff of the camp was also told to monitor it during the camp very strictly.
During opening address, the Camp Commandant emphasized on safety, security, personal hygiene and physical fitness of cadets. Fit India Freedom Run, Obstacle training, Tent pitching, weapon training, firing, drill, cultural and games will be carried out on daily basis for physical and mental toughness of the cadets.
They were told to maintain discipline and learn maximum from ANOs and permanent instructor staff during the camp. Cadets should take it as an opportunity to improve upon their personality. They will learn various life skills not only from PI Staff but from peer group also.
At the end, the Camp Commandant told the cadets to preserve water and electricity in public interest. Wastage of food will not be acceptable at any cost.
