Indian Army organised a ‘Drawing and Painting Competition’ for the students of Govt
Lower High School, Kalal in District Rajouri (J&K). The competition for young talent had an academic aim to enhance personality development, induce healthy competitive spirit and sense of creativity among school going children of border area. Students from various school participated in the competition. The capability, thinking and motivational belief of every child is different . Drawing and painting is one field in which a child can express their thoughts.
The basic purpose of Art education was to enable the child to see clearly, feel deeply, and to express with creative imagination, without restraint. Free and conducive patriotic ambiance was created at the competition site. Participating students were provided with required stationary and accessories for the competition. Students took active interest in the competition and were full of enthusiasm to showcase their talent. The beautiful and imaginative drawings on National themes rain bowed the event with natural and spontaneous art expressions. Suitable prizes were giver to children to boost up their morale. Refreshments provided was delicious and was enjoyed by all participants.
