Budgam, 20th March 2023:* Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Budgam Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his house.
Police Station Magam received an information that one Abdul Hamid Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir resident of Badran has concealed narcotic substance at his house. Accordingly, police team from Police Station Magam raided the specific house and conducted the search. During search, police party was able to recover *1KG & 800 Grams of Charas* like substance in powdered form from the house of the accused who was subsequently arrested on spot.
Case FIR number *37/2023* under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Magam and investigation taken up.
