Today, 02 days course on “Ethics and Soft Skills” commenced at S.K.
Police Academy Udhampur. 17 Police officers from all over UT J&K are
participating in the course. Sh. Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP Dy. Director (Indoor)
was the Chief Guest on the inaugural function.
In his inaugural address Sh. Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP welcomed all the
course participants on behalf of Director SKPA. He laid stress that Soft skill is a
tool for conflict resolutions, Trustworthiness to facilitate community interaction
etc. Since police is the first responders in the criminal justice system, therefore,
it is imperative that victims of crime are attended with patience and sympathy.
The victims and complainants should be treated with compassion and respect as
they are entitled to access the mechanism of justice.
The inaugural session was also attended by Dr. Kavita Suri, Director
Deptt. Of Lifelong learning University of Jammu. The course is being
coordinated by Sh. Suraj Singh Dy.SP, Asstt. Director (Trg./R&D) and
Inspector Sukhvir Singh member faculty.
