Govt. Boys Pahari Hostel Jammu Observes Pledge Ceremony on 5th Year of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Students and staff reaffirm commitment to a drug-free and responsible society

Jammu, 19 Nov.: The Govt. Boys Pahari Hostel, Jammu, on 18 November 2025, celebrated the Pledge Ceremony marking the fifth year of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA), renewing its dedication to promote a drug-free and healthy environment among youth.

The Govt. Boys Pahari Hostel, Jammu, on Tuesday observed the Pledge Ceremony to commemorate the 5th year of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA). The event aimed at strengthening the resolve to eradicate drug abuse and encourage healthy living among students.

All staff members and hostel inmates took active part in the programme, which began with an introduction to the objectives and significance of NMBA. Speakers highlighted the national missionโ€™s focus on eliminating substance abuse and creating widespread awareness, especially among young people.

Following the introduction, participants took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge. Through the pledge, they committed themselves to staying away from drug consumption, motivating peers and community members to adopt an addiction-free lifestyle, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, and supporting national initiatives to build a safer India.

The atmosphere reflected strong enthusiasm and collective determination as participants vowed to contribute towards a drug-free nation.

The event concluded with a message from the hostel authorities, who encouraged the students to act as ambassadors of positive social change and to uphold discipline, awareness, and responsibility in their daily lives.
