*Highway Traffic Police Accorded Warm Send Off to Ms Mohita Sharma IPS, on Relinquishing Addl. Charge of SSP Traffic NH Ramban*

Ramban 02 June, 2023: A warm send off was accorded by Highway Traffic Police Ramban to *Ms Mohita Sharma IPS* on her relinquishing the additional charge of SSP Traffic NH Ramban.
An impressive farewell party was organized at GO’s Mess Kawbagh for her excellent contribution in Traffic Police as SSP Traffic NH Ramban. The farewell was attended by inter alia Sh Gourav Mahajan Addl SP Ramban, Sh Iftiqar Ahmed DySP Traffic Ramban, Sh Baljeet Singh DySP Traffic Doda/Kishtwar, Sh Pardeep Singh Sen DySP Hqrs Ramban, Sh Asgar Malik DySP Traffic Banihal, Sh Viqar Bhat DySP DAR Ramban, Sh Arun Jamwal DySP Traffic Udhampur/Reasi and all DTIs working under the command of SSP Traffic NH Ramban.
On this occasion, DySP Traffic Ramban Sh Iftiqar Ahmed complimented the outgoing officer for his outstanding contribution during her stint of eight months as SSP Traffic NH Ramban in handling the management of the traffic of five districts especially on NH44, which itself is very challenging task to be accomplished. The traffic charge was in addition to her main assignment of running the affairs of Distt Ramban side by side in which official assignments like investigation, maintenance of law and order, counter insurgency operations and other area of policing were handled. The entire team of Highway Traffic Police Ramban wished her best of luck for her assignment as SSP Ramban and success to her future service career.
Meanwhile, today on 02 June, *Sh Rohit Baskotra JKPS* who was recently transferred form Distt Poonch, assumed the charge of SSP Traffic NH Ramban. The handing over-taking over of the charge of SSP Traffic NH Ramban was conducted in a special ceremony in the office of SSP Traffic NH Ramban in presence of print and electronic media.
The outgoing officer briefed incumbent officer regarding the various challenges regarding maintenance of smooth traffic on NH44 and other districts of the jurisdictions. She also wished him success in the near future.
