GANDERBAL: 05TH, AUGUST 2024: In continuation to *Plantation Drive,* in the loving memory of J&K Police Martyrs under the theme, *“Ek Paed Shahedoun Ke Naam”* today on the directions of SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS,*
J&K Police District Ganderbal alongwith Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal organised Plantation Drives in various Schools of the District.
In Sub-Division Kangan, the Plantation Drive was held at *Govt. Primary School Kachanambal* under the supervision of SDPO Kangan *SP Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS* in which NOKs of J&K Police Martyrs, Police officers, Officials of Forest Department & School Students participated whole-heartedly.
At *Govt. Boys High School Chount-Waliwar* & *Govt . Middle School Repora,* the Plantation drive was held & different species of plants were planted. On the said occasion, SP Hqr’s Ganderbal *Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS accompanied by Dy.SP PC Ganderbal *Shri Aftab Bukhari-JKPS,* Police Officers, NOKs of Police Martyrs, Officials of Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal and School students participated.
The main aim behind such Plantation Drives is to get at least one tree planted in the name of J&K Police Martyrs and to memorize the sacrifices by the Martyred Police Personnel in line of duty and to promote awareness, importance and community engagment in understanding Environmental ethics and role of Police and Public in upliftment of Nation and Natural resources.
