Kishtwar : 18 Oct 2023: Indian Army launched comprehensive 30 days Stitching and Tailoring Course, commencing from 18 Oct 2023 to 16 Nov 2023 in the serene village of Mughal Maidan. The course commenced with participation of 16 women, and the number of participants is expected to increase as the course progresses.
This visionary initiative aims to empower women by imparting essential skills and fostering entrepreneurship within the community. Led by a team of seasoned instructors, the program will offer a hands-on learning experience in various aspects of stitching and tailoring, including pattern cutting, garment assembly and intricate embroidery techniques.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical insight into the thriving textile industry, preparing them for potential economic independence and self-sufficiency.
