Indian Army organised Amity Meeting at Mendhar, Poonch District to strengthen the relations between local populace and the Indian Army. These meetings, conducted periodically, span the entire region with an aim to strengthen the existing bonds between various communities and the Indian Army. Such interactions provide an opportunity to discuss aspects related to improvement of basic amenities, welfare schemes, education, health, employment etc. The event was attended by large No of locals including SDPO, DDC, BDC, Tehsildar Mendhar, ESM and various Sarpanches of Mendhar Tehsil. The participants appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army in conducting these periodic interactions.
