Indian Army organised an “Amity Meeting” at Panchyat Ghar, Kalsa, Poonch District. These meetings, conducted periodically, span the entire region with an aim to strengthen the existing bonds between various communities and the Indian Army.
Such interactions provide an opportunity to discuss aspects related to improvement of basic amenities, welfare schemes, education, health, employment etc. Sarpanch informed about various Central / State Government initiated welfare schemes to the public representatives. The participants appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army in conducting these periodic interactions.
