Indian Army organised Basic Computer Course in Akhnoor.

Jammu : 06 Apr 2023 Indian Army organised a three months basic course on computer literacy for underprivileged girls of border villages of Akhnoor sector. This course was conducted in Gigrial Panchayat Bhawan and was designed specifically for girls who lack access to computer education. The aim of the course was to provide the girls with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate in today’s digital world.

Over the course of the program, the girls learned about computer hardware and software, internet browsing, email communication, and Microsoft office. They also had hands-on experience using computers, which helped to cement their learning and build their confidence.

At the end of the course, each participant received a certificate in basic computer course, certified by GOI under RASHTRIYA SARV SHIKSHA ABHYAN (RSSA) which recognizes their hard work and dedication. The certificate will also help them in their future endeavors, whether that be in further education or in the job market. The program empowered these girls and provided them with the tools to break the cycle of poverty.
