Rajouri : 10 Apr 2023: The Go Green initiative improves lifelong outcomes for children by advancing environmental health, safety and sustainability at school. Indian Army in its continuous endeavor to educate the students, tree plantation drive organised at Pine Wood School Sabra in District Rajouri (J&K). The students were educated on tree plantation, preserve forest areas and protection of natural wildlife habitats. The local youth and school children, who are the future of the community and the nation, were especially involved in the event to make them connect with their surrounding and become long term stake holders in its preservation.
The participants expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and resolved to carry the message of afforestation to their respective communities, while continuously striving to maintain the region clean and green.
