Indian Army organised a lecture to spread awareness about various women related welfare schemes of the Government. The lecture conducted at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Palangarh, Rajouri attended by the local womenfolk, who were explained the importance of women empowerment for the progress of the society. Information about various initiatives of the Government such as Mahila Samakhya, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, etc was also disseminated to the audience. The attendees appreciated the efforts made by Indian Army to educate them on these important schemes.
