In continuation with its efforts to extend medical assistance in remote and far-flung areas, the Indian Army organised a Medical and Veterinary Camp at Bafliaz, Poonch. The camp provided essential medical assistance to the locals and their livestock. The lecture on ‘Menstrual Health and Hygiene’ was also taken by Indian Army doctors and the staff of Military Nursing Service. The joint efforts of doctors and medics from the Indian Army and civil administration provided a healing touch to large No of locals and livestock. This endeavour by Indian Army to reach out to the population residing in remote areas, whore civil administration has limited accessibility will go a long way in developing and strengthening of trust between JAWAN and Awaam.
