As part of Indian Army’s continued endeavour to help AWAAM in fight against COVID-19, Sarla Battalion under aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade organised COVID-19 vaccination camp at Gulpur village in District Poonch (J&K) on 08 Aug 2021. The vaccination camp was conducted in association with Public Health Department Poonch (J&K).
The COVID vaccination camp witnessed overwhelming response and support from the local populace and sarpanches from villages close to Line of Control in District Poonch. A large number of AWAAM were vaccinated with COVISHIELD vaccine which was followed by continuous post vaccination monitoring by medical representatives.
The event culminated with interaction of civil populace with Indian Army representatives. With smooth civil-military coordination, the event marked the genuine concern and welfare of AWAAM by Indian Army.
