JKNPP demands immediate attention of Govt. towards basic problems of Pahari population in J&K & Ladakh

J&K National Panthers Party leadership demands immediate attention of the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha towards the basic needs of Pahari population living in remote and inaccessible areas around IB and LoC Districts.

In a joint statement of senior party leaders including P.K Ganju (Sr. Vice President), Masood Andrabi (Vice President), Ms. Anita Thakur (General Secretary), Hakikat Singh Jamwal (General Secretary), Farooq Ahmed Dar (Provincial President Kashmir), S.Paramjit Singh Marshal (Provincial Trade Union President), Hakeem Arif Ahmed & Jehangir Khan (State Secretaries) have said that the high and middle level functionaries in administration are not responding to the basic requirements of the poor masses in rural, remote and border villages in Karnah, Kupwara, Tangdhar, Uri, Machhail, Sardana Top, Gool-Gulabgarh and Padder.

There are acute problems of frequent power cuts, non-availability of life saving medicines, specialised equipment and staff for health care.

JKNPP demands that means of communication and transport be put on service on war footings in inaccessible corners. Inter district connecting roads are in the worst condition but senior District Officers are not moved to make these worth smooth travel.

Appreciating the Govt. initiative in launching development projects worth millions in Union Territories of J&K & Ladakh but National Highways often remain cut and inner connection roads are ignored.

Prof.Bhim Singh, President of JKNPP in a strong message to all District Presidents of J&K and Ladakh to mobilize the entire population of J&K and Ladakh for the return of Statehood of J&K which was demolished on August 5, 2019. The people of J&K need to be taken into confidence and provided all facilities and privileges which are given to every citizen of India from Kanyakumari to Ladakh.
