Indian Army has conducted a lecture for the local youth on Swarnim Vijay Varsh: Commemoration of the 50 year of Indo-Pak War at Shalimar. The youth were explained about the causes and events leading to the 1971 War, the outcome of the war and the sacrifices made by our heroes. Special emphasis was laid on knowing their take on the event during interactive session after the lecture. The aim was to familiarize the youth with the glorious past of the Indian Army. Such events reinforce the commitment of Indian Army to stand with the youth of the region. A large number of youth are attended the same.
