RAJOURI : Sunderbani Forest Range of Nowshera Forest Division conducted a series of plantation drives under Greening Jammu.
A plantation drive, in collaboration with Indian Army was held at Army HeadQuarters Sunderbani
Lt Colonel M K Shahi with all ranks participated in the plantation drive.
During the drive medical and shade bearing plants were planted in army campus. Rakesh Verma Range officer Sunderbani with staff of Sunderbani block planted a number of plants during the plantation drive.
Another plantation drive was held at Sub Divisional Hospital Sunderbani which was launched by DDC Councillor Sunderbani Rajinder Sharma in presence of Block Medical Officer and other staff members of Sunderbani Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Sunderbani overwhelmingly thanked B Mohandas Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera and Officer Sunderbani for conducting the plantation drive. He apprised the participants that Nowshera Forest Division is conducting such drives not only in institutions but in the remote areas too. A number of such drives were conducted to make Sunderbani green.
The drives were conducted under the direct supervision of B Mohandas, Conservator of Forest West Circle Rajouri and Suresh Manda, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera
