A Quiz competition organised for School students’ of Pine View public school, Thatri in District Doda (J&K). The aim of the competition was to enhance the knowledge on variety of subjects to include general knowledge, science and technology and induce healthy competitive spirit amongst the students. A large no of students from the school participated in the competition. The students took part in the competition with full zeal, enthusiasm and showcased their aptitude. The performance of the participating students was heartening and they impressed the audience. The Indian Army motivated the students to study and to be active contributors to nation’s social and cultural growth.
The event proved to be another milestone in fostering bond of friendship between the local populace and Indian Army. It was a small step towards identifying and showing the immense and unexplored talent of students of the region. The winners and runners up were suitably awarded. Students and local populace were very happy and were of the view that these kinds of initiatives by Indian Army will help in channelizing the enormous talents of their children in the right direction.
