Samba: Samba Police in their drive against illegal mining under the guidance of SSP Samba
Benam Tosh, have seized 06 vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district
Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO police station Ramgarh Asha Nand, SHO police station
Purmandal Hardev Singh, Incharge police post Supwal PSI Vikrant Kotwal and IC police post
Goran PSI Maneesh Sharma under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Samba Mohd Usman, SDPO
Bari-Brahmana Rahul Nagar, SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari and Additional SP Samba
Surinder Choudhary have seized 06 vehicles for illegal mining near Devika river bed Koulpur,
Khara Madana, Basanter river bed Phulpur and Goran khad.
The seized vehicles are : a dumper bearing Regd. No. JK21G-9566, a tipper bearing
Regd. No. JK21G-5717, Tractor-Trolley bearing Regd. No. JK21C-0982 & 03 Tractor-Trolley
without registration number.
