Shiv Sena’s MP Sanjay Raut visiting Jammu on Jan 19 to participate in ongoing Dharna of Kashmiri Hindus.

Will also join Bharat Jodo Yatra & meet PoJK, Sikh representatives

JAMMU: Shiv Sena Member Parliament Sanjay Raut will reach Jammu on Jan 19 on a three-day tour. During his three-day tour, Raut will meet Kashmiri Hindus who are in protest in support of their demand of relocation from Kashmir to Jammu region. Besides, the Member Parliament will also join Bharat Jodo Yatra and also meet PoJK and Sikh representatives.
This was informed by Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena while talking to media persons here today.
Pertinent to mention that a Shiv Sena leaders headed by Manish Sahni joined the ongoing dharna of Kashmiri Hindu employees posted in Valley and extended full support to their demand of relocation.
Sahni reiterated the demand that government should come out of its obstinate attitude and provide relief to the protesting employees by transferring them to safer places. He said that fearing targeted killings, these employees have been on strike for the last 251 days demanding their transfer out of the valley. Instead of giving relief, the government is torturing them mentally and financially by stopping their salaries.
Sahni termed it unfortunate that the government is hell-bent on making Kashmiri Hindus scapegoats while the militant outfit ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF) believed to be a part of Lashkar-e-Taiba, is constantly threatening attacks with personal data of employees.
Sahni informed that the Member Parliament Sanjay Raut is on a three-day visit to Jammu from January 19 as per the instructions of Party Chief Uddhav Saheb Thackeray. Along with participating in the demonstration, he will also join Bharat Jodo Yatra on January 20 and 21 in Jammu and then he will also meet Sikh representatives regarding PoJK and Minority Status and declaring Punjabi as official language in Jammu and Kashmir.
General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, GI Singh, Vice President Balwant Singh, Titu Sehgal, Rajesh Handa were present on the occasion.
