*SSP Kishtwar Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS chaired a meeting with the members of transport unions of District Kishtwar at District Police Headquarters Kishtwar so as to minimize the problems of congestion due to traffic and jamming in Kishtwar town as well as to settle the issues of transporters.*
“`SSP Kishtwar Informed all the representatives of transport unions that traffic congestion has become a major problem, in this regard a special drive shall be started to decongested the certain area for which cooperation of transport union is required.
During the meeting a threadbare discussion was held regarding the rationalization of vehicles plying on various routes in the district and identification of alternate parking slot, problems of overloading, wrong parking, traffic jamming’, cart user, Kiosks, etc.
SSP Kishtwar Mr. Poswal-JKPS assured to organize an awareness camp for drivers so that fatal road accidents can be prevented and also to make them aware about provisions of Motor Vehicle Act.
The participants ensured their cooperation for streamlining the traffic rationally in the District.
