‘STITCHING AND TAILORING TRAINING BY INDIAN ARMY IN DISTRICT RAMBAN’

It was a dream come true for village women folk belonging to remote area of Ramban, District Ramban (J&K), that the Indian Army organised a ‘Stitching and Tailoring Training for Women Continuing with mission of Empowering Woman of remote region of Ramban. Indian Army commenced month long stitching classes at Upper Dalwah and Hakka Panchyats. A large number of girls of different age groups are building their stitching and tailoring skills to empower themselves. This empowerment drive will facilitate towards progression of society. The women folk expressed their desire for conduct of more such skill development classes in near future so that maximum women can accrue benefits from it.
