Training started at CIIIT Government Polytechnic Jammu.

One month Internship Training started today for 54 trainees of Govt ITI Canal Road Jammu at CIIIT (Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation & Training) Jammu. Thirty two students from Electrician trade and 22 from Motor Vehicle Trade started their training in Home Appliance Technician course and Value Engineering and Benchmarking course. The students were accompanied by Vice Principal Er. Rajesh Bansotra, ITI Jammu. Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Govt Polytechnic College Jammu welcomed all the students and faculty of ITI Jammu and briefed them about the latest technologies established at CIIIT Jammu with the aim of up-skilling & enhancing employability of students to the latest trends by imparting skill training on the latest technologies with the help of faculty from TATA Technologies. Er. Ghulam Mohd Bhat, Joint Director, Skill Development Department, J&K motivated the students to gain skills offered at CIIIT Jammu that will certainly bridge the gap between Industry and Academia. Mr Sandeep Nimbalkar and SMEs, Tata Technologies demonstrated the various latest machinery and equipment installed at CIIIT and students were given brief insight about Robotics, Electric Vehicles, Digital Manufacturing, Mechatronics and IOT. Er Kuldeep Singh, HOD Mechanical, Er Rajesh Gupta, HOD Automobile, Er Randhir Singh and SMEs from Tata Technologies, Pune was also present on the occasion.
