31st OCTOBER, 2024:Under Police Flag Day Week 2024, in the loving Memory & to give salutation to Police Martyrs, J&K Police District Ganderbal today organized Mini-Marathon “Run for Unity” from Govt.Boys Hr.Sec.School Kangan to Sindh View Environmental (Dumping) Park Kijipora in which School Students & Youth of Sub-division Kangan participated with huge fervour & enthusiasm. Besides, Officers & Officials of District Police also participated in the event with zeal and zest.
The Marathon was flagged off by Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad, accompanied by SHO PS Kangan Shri Mehboob Hussain & other senior Police officers. It is pertinent to mention that Police Flag Day Week 2024 is dedicated to all the J&K Police Martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the service of nation.
At the Conclusion of the event, 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders were awarded with Cash Prizes & Appreciation Certificates
