UnitedStates will revoke the sanctions waiver for operations at Iran’s ChabaharPort,  effective Sept 29.

The waiver, issued in 2018, will end, exposing individuals linked to port operations to sanctions under the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act.

The US administration said the move aligns with Trump’s “maximum pressure” policy against the Iranian regime.
