US President DonaldTrump and the first lady, MelaniaTrump, attended a lavish state dinner at Windsor Castle, United Kingdom, where they were warmly received by the British royal family on the first day of an official visit.
KingCharlesIIIwelcomed President Trump to the banquet, saying the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom “has made us safer and stronger through the generations.”
In response, President Trump hailed the special relationship between the US and the UK, saying the word special does not begin to do it justice. He hailed the visit as one of the highest honours of my life.
