Members of Vishwakarma Temple Committee , Vishwakarma Temple New
Plot , Jammu and public in general celebrated Vishwakarma Pooja Diwas early in the
morning in the chairmanship of Ramesh Angotra. Temple was specially decorated.
Havan was conducted and sweets distributed.
Mohinder Lal , President of the Committee told that Lord Vishwakarma is most
relevant today and all should worship Him . He said that Vishwakarma Pooja is held
throughout the world on 17-9-2021. He congratulated Jammuites on the auspicious
occasion and explained the significance of Vishwakarma Pooja in this age of Science
and Technology. He said Lord Vishwakarma has created this wonderful Universe which
is infinite and Scientists have succeeded to explore only a little bit of it. He reiterated the
demand of a “Gazetted Holiday” on Vishwakarma Pooja Diwas.
Ramesh Angotra stated that such Pooja is being done by those who are
associated with technology. He said today is era of Science and Technology. He is
biggest engineer who has created this universe. The Universe is very complex to
understand but Loed Vishwkarama has created it Lakhs of years before.
On this occasion, working class people from adjoining area gathered and
performed Vishwakarma Pooja followed by distribution of sweets to the gathering.
Chanting of “Jai Vishwakarma” and singing of Bhajans spread spiritual waves in the
environment.
Others who graced the occasion include Balwant Kataria, Joginder Angotra ,
Omkar Singh Bose, Kunal Angotra, Ashok Salgotra, Bhushan Virdhi, Vishal Krotra.
