.The ‘Sons of Poonch’ have made the people of this pious soil proud by winning the White Knight Cricket Premier League-2022, wherein 10 teams from the entire Jammu Province participated. They have once again proven that Poonch is an abode of Warriors having fighting spirit of Lions. The complete Poonch City welcomed the Champions from Sher-E- Kashmir bridge to Poonch Stadium. The Awaam populace, dignitaries and the families of the team members graced the occasion and received the champions with open heart and pride. The parade culminated at historical Poonch stadium wherein Indian Army, SSP Poonch and other officials along with the Awaam of Poonch welcomed them with garlands. The ceremony was witnessed by civil population, youths and other sports officials in large numbers leaving them motivated and hopeful for a brighter future.
