Reasi, 12-03-2026: On the occasion of 87th CRPF raising day a Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by 126 Bn CRPF at Bidda, Reasi under the supervision of Sh Manoj Verma, Commandant-126 Bn CRPF. Sh Kumar Abhishek, IAS, DC, Distt- Reasi and Sh. Paramvir Singh, SSP, Distt- Reasi graced the occasion for this noble cause.
The Camp was organized in coordination with a medical team from Blood Transfusion Medicine department, GMC Jammu Namely Dr. Rashmi (Sr.Resident), Dr. Hamza with her team and Sh. Dr.Gopal Dutt, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Reasi played an important role in co-ordinating the blood donation camp. A large number of Officers and Jawans of CRPF and JKP voluntarily donated blood during the event. The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and to help during the availability of blood for patients in need.
Sh. Kumar Abhishek, IAS, DC, Reasi appreciated the enthusiastic participation of donors in uniform and the support extended by GMC, Jammu. He also highlighted the significance of as donating blood a life saving act and encouraged everyone to come forward for such humanitarian initiative Sh Manoj Verma, Commandant, Sh. Santosh Kumar, 2I/C, Smt. Manjima Kuriakose, 2I/C and Sh. Dharmendu Arya, D/C stated that the CRPF is committed in helping local people through programmes related to security as well as social concern. He also emphasized that CRPF & JKP remain committed for helping people of J&K in any time of need highlighting the synergy amongst security forces in the region.
