Bihar| Under the Saat Nishchay programme, the Chief Minister’s Nishchay Self-Help Allowance Scheme will now also benefit unemployed male and female graduates from Arts, Science, and Commerce streams.
Under this scheme, which is known as Mukhyamantri Nischay Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana, they will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 upto two years.
This is an important decision as part of a series of announcements being made by the CM Nitish Kumar ahead of the AssemblyElections in the state.
