Poonch : 11 Apr 2023: Anti Drug Awareness programme was organised by Dreams Alive Foundation at Govt High School Degwar Maldiana in District Poonch (J&K). The Anti Drug event consisted of lecture by Mr Ashok Kumar Sharma Head Master, Degwar High School, Mr Ranjeet Rao, SHO Poonch and Mr Pritam Singh, Sarpanch Degwar.
Post the lecture, Nukkad Natak was performed by students bringing forth the ill effects of drug consumption on both individual and society. The gathering also took a pledge against drug usage and trafficking. The primary aim of the programme was to educate the youth about the ill effects of drug consumption and effects on the family and the society holistically. More than 250 villagers participated in the event and came together with a pledge to eradicate drug menace in their village
