Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says India is exporting indigenous defence products to nearly 100 countries worldwide.
Speaking at the Times Now Defence Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, he highlights the significant growth in defence exports, from 686 crore in 2013–14 to over 38,000 crore in 2025–26.
He also says India has achieved over 90% self-reliance in ammunition variants, with 159 of the 175 variants in the Indian Army’s inventory being indigenous.
