Government will provide skill training to 70,000 rural youth across States and Union Territories from next month under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) 2.0.
The Centrally Sponsored Scheme provides placement-linked skill training to poor rural youth. The Rural Development Ministry said 31 participating States and UTs have been allocated over nine lakh targets for two years.
