India must build a skilling ecosystem based on trust, quality and lifelong learning to make the country the global skill capital, says Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary.
Addressing World Youth Skills Day 2026 celebrations and 11th anniversary of Skill India Mission in New Delhi, the Minister said that this year’s theme, “Skilling for a Shared Future”, reflects countryโs commitment to preparing its workforce not only for domestic opportunities but also for global labour markets.
