In continuation of series of physical fitness drive, to inculcate the spirit of staying healthy, Indian Army organised interactive session on “Importance of Physical Fitness” at Pathanateer in District Poonch (J&K). Understanding the benefits of physical fitness, implementing physical activities, healthy dietary parameters helps to maintain good health and improve overall quality of life. Physical fitness results in strong bones, seamless cardio vascular functions and strong muscles which results in better health. Playing games for maintaining a good health instils sportsman spirit and ‘Never Give in Attitude’ towards life. Regular exercising develop flexibility, stability, reduces the risk of injuries and illness. The enthusiasm displayed by the participants indicated that the awareness lecture has a long lasting impact on youth towards physical fitness. With dedicated practice they will channelise their energy towards spreading positivity in society.
