Minister of Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw said, India is to achieve complete domestic production of mobile phone components within two years. He added that chipsets for various applications, including CCTV, are being developed in the country.
Mr. Vaishnaw said that the government will invest more than Rs 200 crore to develop energy-efficient micro-processors for high-performance computing, including servers.
